Head of Maintenance

Oversees physical set-up and tear-down of all events, responsible for managing all installations, repairs, and general upkeep of operations of fairgrounds including maintaining machinery, planning repair activities, and developing maintenance procedures.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and lead all maintenance processes and operations

2. Supervise labor crew

3. Maintain all machinery to ensure its at working standards

4. Must be able to operate forklift, skid steer, scissor-lift, and other relevant machinery

5. Create and implement maintenance procedures

6. Conduct regular inspections of fairgrounds to detect and resolve problems

7. Document and report to the manager of any equipment or building repair needs

8. Oversee equipment stock and place orders for new supplies/parts when necessary

9. Oversee set-up & breakdown of events

10. Ensure shop space is kept clean and organized

11. Must be available to work irregular schedules as needed to ensure the success of events

12. Must be able to be on your feet/ standing for extended periods

13. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance.
