The position of Vice President of Engineering and Operations will open to applicants beginning on August 27 and will remain open through September 23, 2024. Responsible for coordinating and managing the planning, design, engineering, construction, and maintenance of the utility plant, both electrical and mechanical, to provide safe, high quality and reliable service for members. Aligns department strategy with the Cooperative's strategic goals and provides oversight using fiscally sound practices. A minimum of eight years of experience in electric utility systems, preferably in electric distribution cooperatives and the managing of cooperative assets. PE license is a plus. Experience in managing the work of others and maintaining effective relationships, both within and outside the organization. Experience in design, construction, maintenance, and inspection of substation and distribution facilities. Additionally, load growth, demand forecasting, and environmental and regulatory compliance.
